Nearly all the mods apply to world PvP situations the battlegrounds limitation only matters because a few mods that are specific to those (i.e. Since this guide is being written after the release of Warsong Gulch and Alterac Valley, but before the release of Arathi Basin, I was only able to test in these battlegrounds. I tested these mods on characters of varying levels. If you have any suggestions of ones I should test or possibly re-test, please leave a comment with the name and link to the mod in question. *I tried to test them all but I am sure I missed a few.
There was another mod in the same niche that I felt did a better job. 
The mod was not working properly at the time it was tested, and/or was throwing a bunch of errors. There are many reasons why a mod might not have made the cut, including but not limited to: I tested many, many more PvP mods than made this guide. This treatment is not going to cover many popular addons that are useful in PvP as well as being useful in PvE but rather will focus primarily on those addons with a strong PvP element. There are some categories where there are multiple entries and you may prefer one over another. This list is meant to be a starting point, but feel free to experiment with other addons to see what might work better for you. If you're doing PUG arenas without voice, definitely pick up PartyAbilityBars as well.While "Best" is a loaded term, and what may work well for one player may not work for another, in this guide, I'll go over the most popular Classic PvP addons and highlight their benefits. Though I'd recommend getting Gladius and Omnibar at least. Not all of these addons are needed by any means. TrufiGCD (I record my games, so this addon is helpful to see what my partners and I were casting at any point when watching the VODs afterwards)īattleGroundEnemies (Provides raid frames for allies and enemies in BGs, including neat information like CC and trinket CDs) I mainly use it to track defensive CDs and CC such as stuns) PartyAbilityBars (Shows CDs of your party members. Also shows some neat stats such as dispels and cc breaks)
